Front Garden Festival

Geoff Carr, a local garden designer, has inaugurated a front garden festival in the town. He wants to make us all aware of our horticultural surroundings and increase our sense of civic pride in the place where we live.  There were an amazing variety of entries, from window boxes to community spaces, all of which showed an effort to make the area more beautiful and colourful.  He is hoping for even more people to join in next year, including the outer edges of Cirencester, not just the inner town centre..  It will be an opportunity for us to enhance the look of our historic town and encourage residents and visitors alike to say ‘What a lovely place to live’.
